Sacred Marriage, a Lifelong Love
- Gary L. Thomas
Gary Thomas’ writing and speaking focuses on bringing people closer to Christ and closer to others. He is the author of 17 books that have been translated into a dozen languages. These books include A Lifelong Love, Sacred Marriage, Sacred Pathways, and the Gold Medallion award winner Authentic Faith. Gary holds an MA degree in systematic theology from Regent College, and an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree from Western
Seminary. He serves on the teaching team (and as Writer in Residence) at Second Baptist Church, Houston, and is an adjunct faculty member at Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. His books and ministry focus on spiritual formation: how we can integrate Scripture, church history, and the time-tested wisdom of the Christian classics into our modern experience of faith. Gary’s speaking ministry has led him to speak in 49 states and ten different
countries, and on numerous national television and radio programs, including multiple appearances on Focus on the Family and Family Life Today. Gary enjoys running in his spare time and has completed 11 marathons, including the Boston Marathon three times. He and his wife Lisa have been married for 30 years and they have three adult children.

- Dr. Cameron Lee
Cameron Lee has been a member of the Marriage and Family program faculty in Fuller Seminary since 1986, and was part of the program’s move from the School of Theology to the School of Psychology in 1987. While teaching marriage and family studies courses on the Fuller campus, he also speaks off-campus as a Certified Family Life Educator. He is a licensed Family Wellness Trainer and a member of the National Council on Family Relations. Lee’s current project is the development of the Fuller Institute for Relationship Education (FIRE), which seeks to help congregations create sustainable marriage and relationship education ministries through the low-cost training of volunteer leaders. Lee is also a teaching pastor and licensed minister in the congregation where he is a member. He teaches and preaches regularly in church settings.
Lee has been published in a variety of journals, including Family Process, Family Relations, the Journal of Psychology and Theology, and the Journal for the Scientific Study of Religion. He has published eight books, most recently, Marriage PATH: Peacemaking at Home for Christian Couples (2015), Preparing Couples for Love and Marriage, a practical resource to help pastors in premarital preparation (coauthored with Jim Furrow, 2013), and That Their Work Will Be a Joy (coauthored with Kurt Fredrickson, 2012).

He has a B.A. in Biblical Studies and a Master of Theology. He has been leading retreats since 1980. He has completed a program in Spiritual Formation and Direction at Azusa Pacific University s Graduate School and a two-year program in Spiritual Direction at the University of San Diego.

Larry is the founder and executive director of b which journeys with pastors, seminarians, church staff, ministry leaders, churches, and individuals who yearn for greater intimacy with God by designing and providing spiritual formation experiences which unleash and cultivate holistic development. b was founded in 2005.

ROBERT LOANE
Rob has served with VP3 since 2004, putting his mind and heart into the ongoing development of the VP3 Pathway of processes. Over this time he and Randy Reese coauthored a book entitled Deep Mentoring: Guiding Others on Their Leadership Journey (InterVarsity, 2012), a great primer on understanding VP3’s hospitable, particularizing, deepening, and patient way of developing people. He and his wife Sarah live in Sioux Falls, SD, with their children Elliott, Rosie, and Rhys.

Jamin Goggin serves as a pastor at Mission Hills Church. He holds an MA in Spiritual Formation, an MA in New Testament, and a PhD in Systematic Theology. He is the co-author of "Beloved Dust" and "The Way of the Dragon or the Way of the Lamb." Jamin speaks and writes from the depths of his journey, seeking to invite others into the beauty and goodness of life with God. He lives with his wife and four children in Escondido, CA.
